More about permanent eyeliner styles

permanent eyeliner styles

I offer four permanent eyeliner styles: classic liner, thick eyeliner, shaded stardust eyeliner, and lashes enhancement; lower liner is optional and can be added to any of the liners above. It is a ballpark of what I can perform and if you want something in the middle, we always agree on the shape, color, thickness, etc. at the appointment.

Lashes enhancement liner is a fine tattooed line along your top lash line (not your waterline).

Classic eyeliner or thick eyeliner without a wing is a glamorous eyeliner, 50s style.

Shaded stardust eyeliner is a softer style of the liner with shaded top border.

We can mix and match eyeliner styles to create a thick classic winged liner, or a very subtle shaded liner. Full permanent makeup liners (classic liner, thick liner, and shaded liner) are all priced the same, and we can figure out the style of tattoo that's right for you at your appointment.

You can add a lower liner to any of the liners above as an add-on. The upper and lower liners cannot be connected at the end of the eye. The lower liner is done with the client's eyes open, so sometimes we cannot create it if the client is twitchy. Twitchiness cannot be controlled, so we cannot know if we can create the lower liner until we start working on the upper liner. That's why we only offer it as an add-on and you won’t be charged for it if you book it and we won’t be able to complete it.

I suggest considering the condition of your eyelids. If they are low or droopy, I would recommend doing a lash enhancement or soft shaded liner, as it is better not to extend a saturated black winged liner past the upper eyelid fold.

Lash enhancement liner, also known as lash line enhancement, is designed for those who want a very natural look and fuller lashes. It is a fine line tattooed between the lashes without any wing or added thickness. As you can see in this before-and-after photo of permanent lash eyeliner, the healed result looks extremely natural, and no one would be able to guess that anything was done to the eyelids. It is a great liner to start your permanent makeup eyeliner journey, as it is the foundation for any other type of liner. If you want to go with a full eyeliner in a couple of years after a lash enhancement liner tattoo, it is easy to do.

Classic permanent makeup liner is a classic for a reason! It can help your eyes appear more lifted or enhance almond-shaped eyes. It's the perfect to-go eyeliner for when you wake up and are ready to conquer the world! The eyeliner is designed to be subtle, but you can enhance it for a more evening-appropriate look. We can also make it thicker and longer if desired.

Thick tattooed eyeliner without a wing is a great option for those who love a pronounced look and want to draw attention to their eyes. It's also the perfect liner for people who are into extension lashes, as it won't get lost behind them (attention! no extension lashes are allowed before the session). Usually I offer to accentuate an almond shape of the eye, but we can bend the rules and bring the liner down a bit, like in the picture, or create an Amy Winehouse-style liner if you prefer.

Stardust shaded liner is a great option for those who love a subtle elegant look or want to spice it up with a hint of color. In most cases, I use black and several shades of brown to create the eyeliner tattoo (see image), but we can add shades of blue, purple, or green. All of your desires will be discussed at the initial appointment. Stardust foxy eyeliner will heal as a soft eyeliner that will look great by itself or as a base for your usual makeup.
