I’ll teach you how to become a permanent makeup artist.

Its not going to be easy, it takes more, than 2 days and not cheap, but I guarantee you are going to get the best foundation to start your journey.

Already an artist? I got you covered - check out my online course about brows cover-ups here (tap).

Grace had finished the entire course: European brows, lips blushing & lash enhancement liner. She had 6 days of in-person one-on-one training and worked on 13 models.

I am teaching one-on-one in my suite in Ballard, Seattle.

In the beginning, I offer to go through an introductory day in permanent makeup: one day of me revealing all the details about running PMU without any practice (contraindications, color theory, types of pigments, neutralization colors, skin structure, numbing, machines & needles, mapping of brows (+ lips and eyeliners if needed), procedure flow, organization of the master's workplace and tray setup right strokes, practice on paper and latex.

The theory costs $800/day.

If you feel permanent makeup is something you can pull off and would like to proceed, you must get a permanent makeup license for hands-on training.

How to get a license for permanent makeup in Washington? It is fairly easy. You need to pass a test and certification for Bloodborne Pathogens and Infection Control for Tattooing and Body Piercing. There are a lot of on-line options, my favorite is this one (tap here), but you are free to find another. After you passed, you need to apply for the license here (tap the link), you can do it online.

I teach all three areas - European powder brows, eyes (lashes enhancement liner), and lips. You can take all of them or only one or two.

I recommend taking two days for brows, one or two days for lips, and one day for lash enhancement. The first day of practice includes a live demonstration of the procedure, and the student works with two live models afterward. During the second day of on-hand training on the same area, the student performs three procedures on live models under my close supervision. I strongly suggest bringing your own models (friends/family/customers) because in that way, you could do their six weeks touch up yourself and see how the permanent makeup is developing. I’m not charging neither you or your models for the session, yaaay! If you are struggling finding your own models, I’ll find them for you.

Each on-hand day costs $900, all supplies included.

If you want to know about the business aspects of permanent makeup, I can offer that as well. You will need to bring a laptop for that day because we will need to jump into (or create one) a Google business account, observe web resources I use to run the business, figure out your web presence, touch licenses, llc, taxes, etc. It is a lot of information, and I'd say you need to think of an idea of mentorship (six 1.5hrs meetings in zoom once a week, 6 weeks/1.5 months without reschedules).

Business day + mentoring is $1990, just business day is $990; if you'd decide to take the mentorship later, it will be another $1190.

For any of the days of education, I'm providing all the invoices so that you can write these expenses off in the next year's taxes as business expenses.

We are figuring schedules based on our calendars, only you and me. I recommend coming over for one theory day and having practice days after you'll receive your permanent makeup license. It would be better if the practice happened at least a week after the theory.

To block the dates, I need a $300 non-refundable booking fee for each day you want to reserve.

I recommend having your practice days around when you are about to start work with the clientele; otherwise, you will be too scared to start.

To discuss the specific dates, we would need to have a call to figure out our schedule and reserve the days.
